While The Dundon Company has developed a strong network foundation in the national hotel network, we more importantly have married this knowledge with in-depth knowledge of the markets, hotel investors and operators in the Pacific Northwest. Not only does The Dundon Company continually work to know the national and international hotel investors that are interested in the Northwest, we also have relationships with the principal regional owners and operators. Among the many regional chains with which we have conducted business are: WestCoast Hotels, Inn Ventures Inc., Paramount (Coast) Hotels, Phoenix Inns & Suites, Northwest Hospitality Group, The Hotel Group, Red Lion, Silver Cloud Inns, Ameritel Inns, Sycan B Corporation, North Pacific Management, Phoenix Inn Suites and others.
Regional Database and Knowledge
Our regional database includes nearly every investor, developer, management company and franchisor who currently has properties in the Pacific Northwest. We not only know many of these individuals and companies, but also network with other companies that are allied to the hotel industry. Because we specialize and focus on the Northwest, we are in the best position to know when an entity outside the Northwest is searching for acquisitions in the Northwest.
Extensive Experience in the Portland Metropolitan Market
With over 30 hotel transactions (combined asset sales and development) to his credit in the Portland Metropolitan area, Ed Dundon has developed a reputation for unsurpassed experience and knowledge in the Portland market.
Suburban asset sales and development deals have included a broad range of branded product to include several Marriott, Hilton, Red Lion, and Choice brands plus a number of independents. Asset sales prices have ranged from $1,000,000 to $28,750,000.
The Dundon Company has also brokered several significant Downtown Portland hotel transactions. Hotel asset sales include the Heathman, Governor and Riverplace (including accompanying commercial properties). Development transactions include the Hilton Executive Tower, Marriott City Center, Marriott Residence Inn and Avalon.
